Following Craig's idea (on page 1) here is a similar option for reverse mounting an El Nikkor. Item 5 acts as a lens protector and a lens shade. At 2.37x mag on the camera's sensor there is still sufficient working distance (2.5 cm) from the end of the tube to the wasp face.
